Wedding anniversary bells are ringing for Mr. and Mr. Earl Wharton, who celebrate their day tomorrow.

Boston has lost another of her citizens in the passing of Mrs. Jane Day, widow of the late James L. Day., which occurred Friday at the Shady Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rockville, Md. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family.

Mrs. Sam Compton of Rixeyville was a Friday evening caller of Mrs. Virginia Duty on Castleton Ford Road.

Birthday wishes go out this week to my nieces, Mrs. Michele Swindler and Mandy Lynn Tuel both of whom celebrate Thursday, and to Chriss Hetzer who adds another year Wednesday.

Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville was a Saturday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and sons on Turkey Ridge Road. Friday evening Mrs. Henry Wharton, also of Sperryville, accompanied Mrs. Atkins to Vacation Bible School Commencement at the Black Oak Regular Baptist Church, where Mrs. Atkins directed the school.
