Road spent the long weekend at Ocean City, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Peyton were in Damascus, Md. on Monday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Virginia Day, held at Olin Molesworth Funeral Home.
Jacob Heflin was a Thursday overnight guest in the Johnny Bragg home.
Vacation Bible School is in progress all this week at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, through Friday, beginning at 9 am. daily and all children four through sixth grade are invited.
The New Salem Baptist Church on Route 522 will be having Vacation Bible School, beginning Monday, Aug. 2 through Aug. 6. with a closing program on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. to be followed with a picnic. Area children are invited!
