Different in percentage of residents who seek to lend their support to issues pertaining to the healing of the Earth and the preservation of this County . . . different in the number of individuals who engage in a quest for knowledge in what some refer to “fringe” areas but what others might call “cutting edge” . . . different in the level of energy devoted to “sustainable” pursuits.
Kathleen Maier introduced the audiences to the UpS presentation by noting that there is concern about the “disappearance of the web of life” that encompasses “all aspects of our being.” She said that the integrity of this web can be strengthened by the way in which we inhabit the Earth, and that the restoration of native plants, the mission of the UpS, is a critical element of this healing.
