Home: Sperryville Occupation: Owner/Operator of Sperryville Corner Store Accomplishments: Randolph was born and raised in the Sperryville area. He is a 1958 graduate Of Rappahannock High School in Washington, Va. and has been working at the Sperryville Corner Store for over 40 years. He started his career when Jimmy and Myrtle Falls owned the store. He and Wilson Burke bought the store in the early 60’s from the Falls couple and Randolph has been sole owner since the mid 80’s. Today, Randolph, his wife Dorothy and their daughter, Pam and her husband Roger Jenkins operate the store. “Working in this store and serving the people of this community has been my main focus in life in addition to my family,” said Randolph. -Schools, churches and other charitable organizations in this county have always been impressed with the generosity of Randolph at the Sperryville Comer Store. Randolph is always eager to go the extra mile for the benefit of an individual and the Rappahannock News is delighted to name Randolph Clater - Citizen of the Week.
