Mrs. Aline B. Johnson has been appointed postmaster of Sperryville Post Office. Recommendations for appointment of postmasters are submitted by Regional Management Selection Boards, consisting of postal and non-postal members. Officers selected for the SCA at ■ RCHS for the 1974-75 session are Cindy Cummins, reporter; Carol Burke, secretary, Carolyn Dodson, vice president; Andy Nichols, president and Fook Yeum, treasurer. Paul A. Poling of Amissville retired from the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company on Oct. 14 after 33 yeas of service. He worked in the Virignia, Maryland and District of Columbia areas during his time of employment. « A party in his honor was given at the Embers Restaurant in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 3 at which time he was presented a Plectron short wave receiver and other useful gifts.
