• Jay believes, as a general rule, that private businesses, small and large, provide better services at lower prices to all than governments, that, after all, is why the Soviet Union collapsed!
• Jay recognizes that competition is the greatest known force for raising quality and lowering costs, of both products and services: de-regulation did that for airline travelers, telephone users, computer buyers and communications in general. So why shouldn’t it work in other areas, say in education? Hmmmm??
