The Amissville United Methodist Women will hold its annual bazaar on Saturday Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church on U.S. 211. Homemade hand crafts, Christmas items, fresh pecans and a “White Elephant” table, are all on the menu. As well as, a homemade lunch with soup and sandwiches and of course some great desserts. Amissville Baptist Church is holding its first “Harvest Festival” on Nov. 6 from 2-4 p.m., in the fellowship hall at the church on Route 642. There will be plenty of food and games. All children ages 5-11 are invited to come and enjoy the festivities. You can go to the bazaar first and then head right on over to the Harvest Fest. Parents are welcome too!
