Surviving are his wife, Edith B. Mills; three daughters, Judith F. Neller of Jetersville, Brenda M. Carbaugh of Stephens City and Nancy M. Walsh of Fort Valley; three sons, Eugene B. Mills of Culpeper, Larry'S. Mills of Clayton, N.C. and Jeffrey S. Mills of Hume; a brother, John W. Mills of Amissville; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

James Fredrick “Ace” West, 69, of Front Royal died Friday, Oct. 22 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services Were held Monday at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor William R. Withers officiating. Burial followed in Willis Chapel Cemetery in Huntly.
Mr. West was born April 10, 1930 in Warren County, son of the late Joseph R. and Katie Tyler West.
He retired from the Town of Front Royal as a waste water treatment operator. Following his retirement he served as waste water treatment operator for Christendom College.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille West; two daughters Debbi Cahill and her husband R.H. of Front Royal and Robin Dennis and her husband Bill of Jackson, S.C.; two sons, Kevin Ricker and his wife Dianne of Chester Gap and Butch Ricker and his wife Sharon of Chesterfield.
Also surviving are seven brothers and sisters and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister and five brothers.
Pallbearers were Russell Henry, Archie Henry, John Carlson, Tim Wines, Steve North and Kenny Easter.
