The Rappahannock Youth Soccer League played its sixth weekend Saturday, Oct. 23.
On the strength of two goals by Colin Treanor and one late strike by Chris Ramey, the U-18 squad was able to withstand a rally by the Madison team to prevail 3-2. ' The U-14 Rabid Wombats lost to Orange 5-1.
The U-12 Tigers defeated Orange 6-2.
The U-12 Firebirds played host to Orange Two at Rappahannock High School on Saturday. The Firebirds started early with their passing skills and proved too much for Orange Two’s defense.
Holding Orange to two goals and a missed indirect kick at the Firebirds end, the Firebirds out-gunned the Orange team 6-2. This success leaves the Firebirds still undefeated with only two scheduled games left. Go, Go, Qro.. .Firebirds!
The U-10 Blue Unit team played an exciting game defeating Madison Three for a 3(?ore of 4-0. The U-10 Jaguars lost to Madison Four in a final score of 4-0.
