Halloween dance
to be held Oct. 29
A family Halloween costume dance will be held Friday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. The cost is $2 per person or $6 per family maximum. All children, preschool age through seventh grade and parents are welcomed. Children under ten must have a parent present. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the Child Care and Learning Center’s After School Club.
Halloween party

A Halloween party will be held on Sunday, Oct. 31 at the Amissville fire hall from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Games and prizes for all ages will be offered. Categories will be: three and under; four through six; seven through nine and ten through 12 years old. All area children are invited to attend.
