The Eileen Day Rappahannock odyssey began in 1968 when she moved to Padua Farm in Sperryville, a farm purchased by her mother in 1947. Not only did Eileen move to the county in ‘68, but she started her local career in real estate, and also began to raise, as a single mother, those six of her nine children who still lived at home.
