at ARB meeting
The Architectural Review Board met Wednesday, Oct. 20 to review four applications.
The County of Rappahannock submitted an application to approve the construction of a base for a bust of George Washington to be erected in front of the Courthouse on Gay Street. The proposed base was to be made of brick, and partially faced with wood, standing 55” in height.
The board decided not to approve the construction of the base until a more suitable location is found.
Douglas K. Baumgardner submitted two applications: one for a handicap parking sign and the other for a drop-down sign to be attached to an existing sign.
Both requests were passed by the board.
