Life after High
School discussion
slated for Jan. 5
On Friday, Jan. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the RCES cafeteria several recent RCHS graduates will discuss how well the Rappahannock Public Schools prepared them for life after high school.
The sponsoring organizations, Headwaters, RCES-PTO and First Thursday Education Support Group, hope this discussion will benefit current and future high school students and their parents as they plan for their high school years and the years after.
In keeping with the format for RCES-PTO meetings, the evening will begin with a pot luck dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the RCES cafeteria, followed by the panel discussion at 7:30. For more information about the evening, call the Headwaters office at 6751819.

This week, surveyors will be marking out ground control points in furtherance of the Sperryville Gateway Project. The Surveying and Aerial Photography that will follow is a necessary part of the map preparation, on which the rest of the project (bridge, Main Street improvements, etc.) depends.
