Rappahannock Soccer League (RSL) started their first ever indoor soccer program Saturday, Dec. ° with three age g.oups and a total of 60 children signed up.
RCHS under the direction of Athletic Director Jon Smythe, has opened the high school gym for RSL to operate this winter program, with teams being made up for five Vs. five or six vs. six teams, depending on attendance.
The players play fast paced 15 minute games. With no "out of bounds" the ball can be played off the walls as it moves rapidly around the gym. The first nigh was considered a sucCO' ; judging from the players leaving tired and happy.
