Fanny had two children of their own, James and Henry.
Henry left and went to Rhode Island and was never heard from again. James R. Wiggington married in 1913, Carrie Butler.
Fanny Wiggington continued her life at her little home. Known far and near as one of the best mid-wives in the county. Delivering many of the F.T. and Hazel Mountain children.
She also took in folks who would otherwise had no place to live. She always had food for the wayfaring stranger or sojourner. She nursed the sick no matter the hour or weather, and dabbled in the selling of "ardent spirits", known as some of the best around.
In 1912, when she was 50, Fanny married the second time to Henry Berry, whom Fanny called, "Black Berry" because he was so dark. Henry had three children by his former marriage and one of the children was raised by and made his ' home with Fanny until her death.
