Softball Clinics to begin in January j
All Rappahannock County girls in sixth through 12th grade ; who are interested in becoming fast pitch softball pitchers or • catchers are invited to attend open clinic starting in January. Eight clinics will be held at the high school gym on Sundays J beginning Jan. 7 at 12:30 p.m. ■
There will be no cost for the instruction. Attendees should l come dressed to play in the gym with tennis shoes and their ball ! gloves.

Band Boosters to meet ;
The Rappahannock County Band Boosters will meet on > Thursday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. at the High School Band Room. Everyone is encouraged to attend. There will be a discussion of | the upcoming New York trip for the high school. Effective with this meeting, the Band Boosters will begin to meet on the first Thursday of each month.

Old Dominion University’s Distance Learning program begins their Spring Semester at Lord Fairfax Community College on Jan. 6. Registrations are currently being taken for spring classes.
