Saturday afternoon Kamry Peyton was honored with a party at the skating ring in Culpeper by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Peyton in observance of her eighth birthday. Several friends and other family members were in attendance. We extend belated wishes to Kamry.
Our prayers go out to the family of John Mason (Johnny) Sherman who passed away at Evergreen Nursing Home in Winchester, last Wednesday. Johnny was the son of the late Otha Sherman and Marie Kinsey Sherman and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mason Kinsey, who for many years was employed on the Weaver Farm, now owned by Mrs. Doris Ireland, where Johnny spent much of his young life.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Mrs. Laura Wharton, who celebrated on Sunday.
The Christmas "Pickin Party" was held Friday evening at Salem Fire Hall with a goodly number in attendance and enjoyed by all present.
