Their next tour schedule will, undoubtedly, take them around the USA again and, maybe, to foreign lands.
In the meantime, Randy reports that the Everything crew is busy and getting into all sorts of new things. Steve Van Dam has been heavily involved in producing: he did Ki Theory's new album, some new songs for Gibb Droll (blues guitarist extraordinaire), a fejv songs for Milk, a hip hop/R&B group from Charlottesville, and he is currently working on producing Paul Reisler's kids songs album project with Smiggy Smith.
He has also composed and produced his own record of electronic music and has been working on an ambient album with Craig Honeycutt "that blends the sounds of nature (recorded in Rappahannock) with subtle electronic sounds."
At Paul Reisler’s invitation, Craig Honeycutt attended a Virginia Center for the Creative Arts retreat this year, continued to write songs, and engaged in research for a movie script. He has also been playing solo acoustic shows in the D.C. area throughout the year—"honing his songwriting and performing skills with more intimate audiences," and has been working with songwriter Charlie Wine on the VOW (Voices of the World) project.
Nate Brown has taken on some percussion students, has been working as a studio musician for sessions in the DC area, and has been performing on the road with Gibb Droll.
Dave Slankard has been working too as a studio musician—he'll be on Gibb Droll's latest recording—and he, with Nate Brown, has toured with Gibb Droll as Gibb's rhythm section.
The new album . . . this spring, and that won't come soon enough.
