Colin and Elliot Nichols of Huntly have been selected to attend the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) in Washington, D.C. Colin will attend from Feb. 6 to Feb. 11 and Elliot will attend from Feb. 20 to Feb. 25. Both are members of the Rappahannock County High School chapter of The National Honor Society.
The NYLC is a unique leadership development program for high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and scholastic merit. The Nichols brothers
3ill be among 350 outstanding ational Scholars from around the country to attend the conference.
The theme of the NYLC is The Leaders of Tomorrow Meeting the Leaders of Today. Throughout the six day conference, Colin and Elliot Nichols will interact with key leaders and news makers from the three branches of government, the media and the diplomatic $orps. • Highlights of the program include welcoming remarks from the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives and ft panel discussion with prominent journalists at the Hational Press Club.
