Once again, many residents of
Rappahannock County stepped forward to donate blood and give the gift of life to those in need. The Bloodmobile held on Jan. 4 at the Washington Fire Hall was one of the most well-attended of the last eight years, with 47 people coming out to donate.
We thank all of those who, at this busy time of the year, decided to slow down for an hour or so and donate blood. They will probably never know who their blood donation helped, but they can rest assured it did help someone.
We also thank the folks at the Washington Fire Hall for allowing us to use their facility for the Bloodmobile.
