He will conduct services during the Rev. Jennings Hobson's absence on sabbatical leave. The Rev. Mollink will be the first of six Anglican priests who will supply Trinity's pulpit for seven months. The others come from New Zealand (three), England and Kenya.
The Rev. Mollink is rector of Saint Peter's Church in Johannesburg. He entered the ministry from the business world at the age of 49 and though not a political activist, has been active in opposing apartheid and promoting reconciliation.
