When the final horn sounded George Mason had won 86 to 56. Coach Dayton said, " We didn't shoot well, George Mason did. Our guys played hard and got beat. That's all there is to it. Tonight, they were better than we were."
The Junior Varsity boys continued to struggle, as they couldn't find the basket with some cold shooting in the second half. After being up 10-2 to start the game, the JV Panthers couldn't keep up their offensive intensity and ended up losing 48 to 35.
The Junior Panther Boys Basketball team played their first game of the New Year on Wednesday, Jan. 10 against Marshall Middle School. It was the first of four home games that the Junior Panthers will play over the next two weeks. It was played before an enthusiastic crowd of young fans as the Rapp Middle School Principal, Richard Smith bused all of the sixth and seventh graders up to the high school for the contest.
