Casino Night planned

The Rappahannock County School Sports Association will be sponsoring the first annual Casino Night on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. Admission is $25 per person and includes four prize tickets, $10,000 in play money, hors d'oeuvres, and soft drinks. All ticket sales for Casino Night will be in advance. There will be none available at the door. The Casino Night will take place in the gym at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Dress is fancy. There will be a cash bar. Games for the evening will be roulette, craps, poker, over/under, and black jack. All play money will be exchanged at the end of the evening for prize tickets. Prizes will then be drawn and winners announced. Funds will be used to support Rappahannock County School student athletes

Soccer referee classes forming

Referees are needed to work recreation and travel soccer games this spring in Warren ton. Classes are forming now in Culpeper and Manassas. Call Susan Huff at 347-4775 or go to www.vadcsoccerref.com for class information.

Hospice offers support group

Hospice of the Rapidan offers free bereavement support groups to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. The group now forming will meet on Monday evenings, beginning Feb. 5 through March 26 at 5 p.m. in the Hospice of the Rapidan Community Room. Pre-registration is requested.

Aerobic classes underway

On-going aerqbic classes are held at toe Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington on Monday. Wednesday and Fnday mornings from 8:15 to 8:30. A total body workout which includes 30 minutes of low-impact aerobics, floor work, weights and yoga stretches. For information call Beth Lavick at 635-6149.
