At this age level, however, the girls in general have a better ability to understand the mental approach, in addition to the physical approach and RSL is ready to serve this need.
If you are interested in coaching (or assistant coaching) an all girls team or a coed team, please contact Tom Pendleton at 987-8637 for more information. RSL will pay your clinic fee if you attend the annual Virginia Youth Soccer Association workshops in Richmond on Feb. 10 where you can receive your Class F coaching license, and also improve your coaching skills.
The RSL mission statement (in part) states that it is our intention to stress the fun and fundamentals of soccer to the youth of the county. We take special pride in emphasizing sportsmanship as a priority for all members of the RSL family.
