exciting fields. The importance of taking certain classes in middle school and high school to prepare for further study in a chosen area was stressed. Each students had the opportunity to sample three different areas of study (i.e. biology, engineering, physics, mass communication and much more). The lucky students who traveled to Williamsburg for this wonderful event were: Emily and Erica Hilscher, Andrew Kohler, Josh Makela, Frances Monroe, Jesse Palmer, and Lucas Wilson. Parent chaperones were Mrs. Jan Besecker, Ms. Rosa Crocker, Mrs. Beth Hilscher, Mrs. Kay Kohler, Mr. Rick Kohler, Mrs. Jane Wilson and Mrs. Jan Makela.
• The RCHS SCA is busy planning Mayfest, a celebration which will focus on Cooperation and Team Building among members of the faculty and student body. The entire student population will take part in this incredible exercise which will teach students the importance of working together for the greater good. Assisting with the planning of Mayfest, tentatively scheduled for May 25, are SCA sponsor Mrs. Janet Long and RCHS Art Teacher Mrs. Laurie Marshall.
