As a Rappahannock "expatriate" now
living in Charlottesville, I was touched by Gerald Ochs' gentle end-ofthe- century description of life in Rappahannock (Jan.3 issue of the Rappahannock News).
A recent article in February’s Utne Reader, decrying the lack of community in many American towns and cities, reminded me that Rappahannock is especially rich in what the article calls "Vitamin T," or "Tribal Connection." I thought Rappahannock passed their Vitamin T quiz with flying colors!
