Easements top
12,200 acres
Loring and Marian Jetton are the County's latest easement donors, protecting their 145-acre property on Blackwater Creek.
Originally three tax parcels, the tract can no longer be divided into more than two parts. The Jetton's gift brings total easement protection in Rappahannock County to 12,237 acres.
Alumni recognition,
dedication planned
The RCHS Athletic Department is planning to hold an alumni recognition and dedication on Friday, Dec. 7 at the first boys' basketball home game. The Junior Panthers will play at 4 p.m., the Junior Varsity will play at 6 and the varsity game will begin around 8. The ceremony will occur at the end of the JV
?ame just prior to the start of the arsity game with Luray.
Included in the ceremony will be special recognition of the Boys Cross Country State Championship teams of the seventies and the unveiling of the RCHS Track Records mural that features many RCHS Alumni. For more information, contact the Athletic Director at 987-8575.
