Please help us by providing as much information as you can on volunteerism in Rappahannock before Dec. 15. Surveys may be found on Rappnet as well as at the Public Library, Rappahannock National Bank, and the Kiosk at the Washington Post Office. They are available at RCES and RCHS as well. • The public schools in Rappahannock are privileged to host over 150 volunteers who give of their time on a regular basis to help our> schools. We are grateful to them all.
• The RCES Christmas Program will be held on Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. in the RCES Gymtorium. Incredible Murals for the event have been created under the guidance of local artists Linda Heimstra and June Jordan; the effort that has gone into these works by our children and these very talented ladies will amaze you.
• RCHS parents and other interested folks, please mark your calendars for the December PAC (Parent Advisory Council) meeting on Dec. 12. This will be a Brown Bag Lunch meeting at noon in the Culinary Arts room. Please bring your lunch and join us for this fun and informative time together. For those of you who are wondering, the PAC is similar to PTO in that it is open to all, and provides parents the opportunity to stay informed of new programs, schedules, and other situations that may impact their children. If you have not attended before, please plan to attend Dec. 12.
