Throughout the weekend, there will be special art exhibits and open houses at the various galleries and shops, many of which are serving holiday treats, including the following;
Rush River Antiques and Interiors on Jett Street will be serving coffee and pastries Saturday morning; Middle Street Gallery will be holding a Christmas Open House throughout the weekend; Black Bear Gallery on Main Street will be holding an Open House with eggnog on Saturday, 12-3 p.m.; Packing Shed Gallery will be having a special exhibit throughout the weekend; the Odyssey Gallery on Main Street will be holding a wine and cheese reception Friday from 59 p.m. for fiber artist Geri Scalone.
Sunnyside Market will be hosting a reception, with a sampling of holiday cakes, on Saturday from 2-5 p.m., for Tanya Richey, a local artist with national prominence, who is being honored for a commissioned painting of Sunnyside Farm which wifi be hung in the market
