If it’s having an intimate talk with an old friend, begin the conversation. Will smelling the apple pie you can’t eat or hearing a room ring with laughter, make you feel good? As long as you remember who you are, you will feel nourished on every level. Then even if you have to bring all your own food or cook two dishes for a potluck dinner, you will feel full.
