Everett Smith Jr. Fire Medic Everett “Randy” Randolph -Smith Jr., 41, of Amissville died Sunday, Nov. 25 at his residence. He was born in Culpeper ■County on Oct. 17, 1960 and is the son of Everett R. Smith and the late Louise H. Smith. Mr. Smith was an employee of Culpeper County as a Fire Medic. He was also a lifetime member of the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. He served his community for many years and served as Fire Captain of the Amissville Department for .several years. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debbie Smith and three sons, Trey Smith, Vernon Smith and Jason Smith, all of Amissville. Additional survivors include his father; one brother, Joey Smith of Amissville and . three sisters, Nancy Wiles of Amissville, Karen Williams of Chester Gap and Tammy . Martin of Springfield. He is also survived by six ■ ! nephews and five nieces. • In addition to his mother, ■' .lie was predeceased by two sisi.ters, Wanda Lou Smith and Eva Mae Smith. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Dec. 1 at • Found and Sons Chapel with I -Jlev. Tom Williams and Rev. Larry Kennedy. Interment was at Hillcrest 'Memory Gardens in •• Jeffersonton. . i Martin Hitt • Born in county II Martin L. Hitt, 61, of 1 South Boston died on 'Saturday, Dec. 1 at Halifax Regional Hospital. ‘ He was born June 25, 1940 in Rappahannock County, a ‘‘ son of the late Winston Hitt and Lucy Emma White Hitt. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Frazier Hitt of South Boston. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel
