Unexpected Loss
When someone we love is taken from us without warning, the sudden loss is shocking. The death of a loved one is painful enough, but the shock of an unexpected loss intensifies our pain and our grief. Although we might understand on an intellectual level that “no one lives forever," actually losing someone we love unexpectedly may seem unimaginable on an emotional level. While we have, the opportunity to prepare for loss, when a loved one is diagnosed with a terminal illness, sudden loss gives us not time to prepare. We arc likely to feel cheated out of having the time to say goodbye. Sudden loss may also shake our foundations, necessitating even more attention to our grief.
Sudden death, such as from heart attack, may be easier for the loved one who passes on, but it’s often harder on the family. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrcnton, we know that shock can render a person unable to make decisions which is where we can help. We can manage the logistics and relieve you of many smaller decisions with our various plans and options. For a tour, call 347-3431. Bright View Cemetery, just outside Warrenton, offers monuments and memorials for all cemeteries. "There is no greater sorrow than to recall, in misery, the time when we were happy."
