A highly anticipated art show is coming to the Town of Washington.
Local artist Thomas Mullany’s new thought-provoking paintings and drawings will be exhibited at r. h. ballard fine art gallery in Little Washington from April 25 through May 19.
An opening reception with the artist will take place on Friday, April 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the gallery at 307 Main Street. The public is invited.
The Washington Post has followed Mullany’s career over the years and in 1996 declared him “one of Washington’s most innovative artists.” Now the Town of Washington will be treated to Mullany’s extraordinary talent.
Widely exhibited throughout the U.S., with numerous one-person exhibitions in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Charlotte, N.C., Mullany will display a wide range of subject matter crossing many cultures and geographical locations.
The artist states: “I draw inspiration from all periods of Western art and history, from the ancient up to the mid-20th century.
