Trees available
John Kirchner of Woodville is again offering, for the seventh year, free trees (donations accepted) to county residents in his one-man program to reforest the earth. This year he will have 1,000 white pines in bundles of 25, some 250 white oaks and 250 sugar maples in bundles of 10 each. He plans to distribute them on the weekend of April 26 or by arrangement. John H. Waters Cemetery
Anyone interested in going to the John Henry WatersWilliam Bowen Cemetery, meet by 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 at the Panorama parking lot. The group will start out at 2 p.m. Wear boots for some of the swampy areas. For further information contact Wayne Baldwin at (540) 543-2590.
