The Annual Spring Event at the Washington Baptist Church is on Saturday, April 26 at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Donations of good saleable items are needed and can be left at the church on Friday or call Ruth Clark at 675-3608.
The event consists of a bake sale and hot dog and hamburger lunch. All proceeds from this event go toward the building fund.
Happy birthday to our Bobbie Jo Brown of Fodderstack Road who has her 17th birthday on April 28.
Our condolences go out to Billy Wayland and his daughter Tiffany of Sperryville upon the death of his wife and her mother Barbara Wayland, who passed away at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville on Wednesday, April 16.
The ladies of the Washington Baptist Church have eight more seats available for the town bus trip to see the show “Daniel” in Strasburg, Va. on Saturday, June 7. The cost is $95 for adults and $87 for children. Call Sandra Jenkins at 675-3741.
Our sympathy to Mrs. Annie Hawkins and family upon the death of her son, Roger, who passed away April 19.
