Both the media and the American people need to keep in mind the objectives of this war. The coalition forces were brought in to bring liberation to the Iraqi people, to work toward a democratic government, to rid the nation of its weapons of mass destruction, and to insure that the brutality of a dictator will never again be felt by the people in Iraq.
The coalition forces have not reduced the threat of terrorism. If anything, the military action in the Middle East has exacerbated the threat of Muslim fundamentalism
