Maury Willis Brown, 73, of San Antonio, Texas died on May 28 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 26, 1930 in Sperryville to the late Maury Willis Brown Sr., and Eleanor Virginia DeShazo Brown.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by one son, Michael Wayne Brown and one brother, Gerald Menefee Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Brown, and one daughter, Susan DeShazo Parkhill.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Williams-Brown of Ashland, Va., Phyllis B. Shirey, and Jean B. Konek, both from Chesterfield, Va.; two brothers, Henry Allen Brown, San Antonio, Texas and Charles Robert Brown, Dallas Texas; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held June 2 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hinds of Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Ft. £>am Houston National Cemetery.
