Members of the infamous 422nd Night Fighter Squadron attended the 13th annual World War II weekend reunion June 6-8 hosted bv the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum of Reading, Pa.

Among those attending this event were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest P. Luke of Sperryville. Luke served as an Engineering Officer with the 422nd. The Lukes have two children, Peter Holland Luke and Kim Pemberton Luke.

The 422nd NFS enjoys the distinction of being the leading squadron in combat victories of the 22 squadrons active in all theaters in WWII. Members of the 422nd with family and friends enjoyed "traveling hack in time” to 1944 as they visited the "Living History Airfield” in Reading. Every year this*airfield comes alive to commemorate and recreate a WWII airfield.
