The Rappahannock County Garden Club received several honors at the spring Virginia Federation Garden Club District meeting in Staunton.
Students from April Heddleston’s second grade at Wakefield Day School and Mrs. Lane Vicker’s fourth grade at Rappahannock Elementary entered the Smokey Bear Poster contest for the Conservation Division.
Mindy Ramey of the fourth grade was the blue ribbon winner and awarded a crisp ten dollar bill.
