The Blue Ridge Civil War Round Table is sponsoring a bus tour of Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier on Saturday, Sept. 20.
The bus leaves the Amissville Methodist Church parking lot, located on Route 642 Viewtown Road just off Route 211 at 8 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $35 per person (includes bus, three-hour guided tour by a park ranger, and plenty of time to visit areas of interest. Bring a lunch and enjoy the picnic grounds or purchase lunch at the new cafeteria (prices range from $5 to $7).
Make checks payable to the “BRCWRT” and mail to P. O. Box 362, Amissville, Va., 20106. Reservations are confirmed only when check is received. No refunds unless bus is canceled.
