7ravelin’Jack & Co.
Puppeteer Christopher Hudert and his cast of puppets will present three American folk-tales at the Rappahannock County Library on Saturday, July 26 from 2-3 p.m. Told in the style that entertained audiences in America's Colonial days, the first tale. ‘‘Foolish Jack,” tells about Jack's adventures when he leaves home. The puppets next investigate “Why Dogs Chase Cats.” The final tale, "A Bundle of Troubles," reminds us to count our blessings, not our troubles. This program is suggested for K-5 and family audiences.
Baseball registration
Babe Ruth Fall Baseball registration will be held at Stuart Field on the following dates: July 26 from 9 a m. to 12 noon, July 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Aug. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ,Aug. 2 and Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon New registrants will need to provide birth certificates for age verification.
