yard. I have seen at least eight, (maybe the same two?) and they no longer come just at night, but late morning and at dusk as well.
I rushed out to take this picture of two of them as they came up my lawn across my driveway and headed for the woods. They are not nearly as big as our bear of 2001, but they certainly do not seem afraid of people. Personally, I would rather see a bear than a copperhead any day!
