Church celebrations
Shiloh Baptist Church, organized July 27, 1873 in Woodville, invites everyone to share in a day of fellowship at its Anniversary Picnic celebrating 130 years of service on Saturday, July 26 at 12 noon on the church grounds. Come and share lots of good food and Christian fellowship. It is a great opportunity to bring a specialty dish.
The Promise Land Baptist Church Senior Choir, Men’s chorus and Young Adult chorus have combined to celebrate their anniversaries on Saturday, July 26 at 6 p.m. at the Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington. Brother Baylon Brooks and the Voices of Salvation from the Mt. Paren Baptist Church Linden. Va. will be the guest singers. Everyone is invited to the celebration.
Bethel Baptist Church Senior Choir of Amissville is inviting one and all to help celebrate its anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 5 p.m.
