Students craft new
street signs for Town
of Washington

Special to the Rappahannock News Students at Rappahannock County High School have been working industriously for two months to recreate the street signs of the Town of Washington. One of the new beautifully crafted signs “Avon Lane” was put in the ground Thursday in front of the historic Avon Hall estate on the left side of the first entrance to the town. Students of Scott Schlosser’s Building and Trades class as well as his Manufacturing Technologies class began the project in March and have
