they! There are more feral cats, good hunters they are, than all other natural predators combined. Naturalists feel that feral and domestic house cats are having a major impact on entire bird populations, including the bobwhite quail.
So for those of you mowing every inch of your land, leave some patches to naturalize for our critters— the bobwhite quail, the birds and the butterflies. They all will appreciate it.
