Kathy Dwyer Yoder, daughter of Ruby Dwyer of Sperryville, received her Masters of Divinity degree on Saturday, May 15 from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pa.
Kathy graduated from Rappahannock High School in 1975 and Eastern Mennonite College in 1979.
Kathy graduated with honors, receiving awards for academic excellence and the preaching prize for the bestwritten sermon in 2002. In 1999, she received the Contribution to Mission Award from Philhaven Behavioral Healthcare.
She plans to seek an associate or co-pastor position in the Mennonite Church USA.
