Kristin Frazier, 19, of Amissville has been awarded a scholarship for being selected as a member of the First Virginia Team.

The First Virginia Team is a group of 10 students chosen from among 57 students throughout Virginia named to the 2004 All-Virginia Academic Team by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), an international honor society of two-year colleges.

PTK selected these students from the All-Virginia Team as the “top 10” students from two-year colleges across the Commonwealth.

Kristin, the daughter of Ron and Cathy Frazier, was a science major at Lord Fairfax Community College’s Fauquier campus. She graduated with honors on May 14. She will transfer to Radford in the fall to major in speech pathology.
