Middle school
The middle school chapter, full of all first timers, was successful as well. Tyler Crews placed third in Prepared Speech, Joe Vickers fifth in Computer Applications, Zach Herbert sixth in Digital Photography Challenge, Chris Nugent sixth in Prepared Speech. The team of Joe Vickers and Chris Nugent placed seventh in Medical Technology Challenge, the team of Joe Vickers and Zach Herbert eighth in Problem Solving, the team of Joe Vickers, Zach Herbert, and Tyler Crews eighth in System Control Technology. Chris Nugent placed ninth in Technical Writing Challenge and the team of Chris Nugent and Tyler Crews placed tenth in Leadership Challenge.
Clay Vickers will sit at the head table next year representing the Northern Region as President. In Morgan Blubaugh’s campaign effort for the State President, he lacked enough delegate votes to become elected. The leadership part of TSA is just as hard as the contests.
