Set in Japan during the 1870s, “The Last Samurai” tells the story of Captain Nathan Algren (Tbrn Cruise), an American military officer hired by the Emperor of Japan to turn his Samurai warriors into an army of soldiers.
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community (RAAC) is showing this epic tale of love and redemption, at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington on Friday, June 4 at 8 p.m.
The film also stars Ken Watanabe, Timothy Spall and Hiroyuki Sanada. It
