She plans to look at whal technology training can be added to the curriculum so thal “students leave here with whal is expected in this day and age.’ She wants to look, as well, al student self-governance in the upper school, adding sports ir the middle school, and a continuation of the school’s unusual international boarding offeringin which foreign students wil continue to add “diversity.” And of course she will review issues of modest growth and fund-raising for an improved and additional physical plant.
“But the bottom line here,' she said, “is what goes on in the classroom between the students and their teachers. And if that is going well, that is critical.”
She has already met with the faculty on an individual basis to “see how I could help them with their needs. The more contact I have (with the faculty) the happier I am with the decision to come here. I feel as if I know them pretty well
